If you’re looking for a healthy twist on Reese’s peanut butter cups, this is it. I like to have a batch of these in my freezer at all times for when those chocolate cravings hit. And, they stay fresh in the freezer for up to a month, so they’re great for meal prepping or for those times when you want a healthy dessert.

These Chocolate Almond Butter Cups are a great healthy treat to curb your chocolate cravings without the guilt.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C. Virgin Coconut Oil (melted)

  • 1/2 C. Creamy Almond Butter

  • 2-3 Tbsp Cacao Powder

  • 2-3 Tbsp Low Carb Sweetener (see my recommendations below)

  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • Pinch of Sea Salt

Directions

  • Add coconut oil and almond butter to a saucepan over low-medium heat.  Stir until consistency is smooth.  Then, remove saucepan from heat.
  • Add all remaining ingredients to saucepan and stir until fully combined.
  • Pour mixture into molds or muffin liners and freeze until firm.  Keep frozen until ready to serve.
